CADISON beats leading CAE solution again

CADISON R9: Face the crisis with higher efficiency in planning

The first highlight of CADISON R9 becomes obvious right after installation. Many dialogues have been completely revised and now offer additional functions. Therefore, CADISON R9 now is easier and more intuitive to use. Timesaving: up to 30 %!

The new CADISON Visio P& ID is fully integrated in the database and will be sold at a very attractive price. “We have customers who equip their sales engineers with the system which greatly improve the complete process from customer request to final plan and allows for changes to be easily incorporated. The quality of their offers and the whole sales process is vastly improved.” comments Georg Kremer, Managing Director of ITandFactory.

New catalogue and configuration options for the pipe class and catalogue module MATPIPE also ensure higher efficiency: for example, catalogues can now be exported and imported in zip-format.

Furthermore a new search function for catalogue objects was developed. And thanks to the new user administration the safety standards are also significantly improved: every user can be assigned individual access rights to certain catalogues and single functions. Already these innovations contribute to a considerable reduction in possible data entry errors.

Existing functions have been extended: for example, in an open project files from Windows Explorer and e-mails from Outlook can be directly inserted using drag-and-drop into the ‘TREE’-structure of the CADISON Project-Engineer.

Especially the new CADISON Visio P& ID-Designer with its new functions accounts for considerable increase in efficiency. ‘copy & paste” now works also across drawings: it is possible to copy one or more objects from one drawing into another one. All attached data base information is automatically transferred, too. Moreover, the processing speed, when moving a number of objects at the same time, is significantly improved. New options are also available for the generation of reports in Word and Excel, e.g. hidden sum.

Last but not least, comprehensive bug fixing rounds up the latest release. In order to familiarize CADISON users and administrators with the many extensions of the major release, a practical workshop will take place on February, 25th 2010 in Frankfurt. Georg Kremer, Managing Director of ITandFactory promises: “No question will be left open. We will focus on pure CADISON application.”

Conclusion: the recent version is characterized by improved details and a number of strategic innovations with far-reaching importance. Kremer says: “CADISON R9 is our reply to the challenges of 2010. The improved efficiency of our engineering tool supports plant designer and builder to master the crisis successfully.”

CADISON: Launch in India

India is a multinational country and with its over 1 billion population, is the second most populated country in the world. Today, India with a GDP of 684 billion euro (2006/2007) has already advanced into the circle of the ten largest economies of the world. According to many observers, India’s economic productive efficiency in some branches like information technologies and pharmacy has nowadays reached the international top level.

The Medium and long-term growth perspectives of this country are very fortunate according to many evaluations. Some studies count on the fact that India will grow in the future even more strongly than China.

CADISON: Launch in Indien

ITandFactory also sees the things in the same way: „One of our major shareholders Neilsoft Ltd with its 60% of shares (the other 40 % holds Triplan AG) has headquarters and offices across India that explores a huge sales potential for our integrated plant design solution - CADISON”, explains ITF managing director, Mr.Bernd Henrici.

In order to set to promote the popularity in the local market and also with the staff of Neilsoft Offices’ both partners initiated the CADISON-Launch, "India 2008’.

This first 5-day Launch took place in the beginning of January and was followed by a second Launch in April. All events have been extremely successful with participation from more than 350 visitors in five different Indian cities. ITF received very good presentation feedbacks; resuming meetings and presentations at potential customers were agreed upon and are at present in the process of conversion. “We are very optimistic to win new CADISON clients very soon”, shared Bernd Henrici who presented ITandFactory and CADISON in India, together with the Technical Director Process Michael Brückner.

By the way: Neilsoft Director Mr.Ketan Bakshi took part in the marketing campaign and took the opportunity to inform personally and locally from the introduction on the market action ,where he could see that Neilsoft is perfectly equipped, when considering the sales and marketing techniques, for the successful market sales of CADISON.

ITandFactory GmbH, Bad Soden:
Mission Russia

ITandFactory’s internationalization booms: the recently established subsidiary company - OOO ITandFactory in Moscow, is a new local contact office in Russia and CIS countries in the area of plant design and construction.

Large corporations as well as many medium-size enterprises invest in production plants abroad, in order to be able to serve their markets faster and more purposefully. That applies to the automotive industry just like for enterprises of chemistry and Petrochemical. In order to remain in the business, suppliers follow them abroad.

The building engineering services and plant design software used by these enterprises and their suppliers also requires after-sales and consultation services on-site –ideally by the local IT specialist.

Considering this point, OOO ITandFactory has been established to provide its clients with software products like CADISON and TRICAD MS. Moreover: CADISON Version R8.1 is now also available in Russian, which undoubtedly is a prerequisite for future success!

The location of the office in Moscow is also very optimal as Moscow is nevertheless considered as the Capital of The Russian Federation as the political, economic and cultural centre of the country ,with a population of about 150 million inhabitants (alone in Moscow metropolitan, there are about 14 million inhabitants).

„The establishment of OOO ITandFactory in Moscow is the nucleus of our commitment in Russian market”, shares ITandFactory managing director Mr.Bernd Henrici. The Co-Director, Mr. Georg Kremer further adds: “ITF’s expansion in Russia is a very important strategic decision, a further milestone on our path of internatialization”.

The local Russian representative of the ITF holding company Triplan AG (Neilsoft holds 60 % of ITF shares, Triplan 40 %) will work closely together with OOO ITandFactory, in order to realize the common chances and synergies. Due to the generally strong demand for modern technology Triplan like ITandFactory also sees, a large growth potential in Russia.

Neilsoft Ltd. Takes Over a 60% Sharehold of ITandFactory GmbH
India-Based Engineering Group Merges With ITandFactory
Internationalization Further Pursued / Vigilant Development of CADISON

Triplan AG, headquartered in Bad Soden, Germany, and specialized as provider of engineering services, has found a new partner in the engineering services and software company Neilsoft Ltd., headquartered in Pune, India.  With a 60% sharehold, Neilsoft takes over the majority share of the newly established ITandFactory GmbH (ITF). ITF possesses all rights to the products CADISON, TRICAD Original, PIPE M and PIPE Series – these are primarily software tools for plant engineering planning.

Neilsoft pursues a similar business model as Triplan, and provides comprehensive engineering services and branch-customized software solutions deploying about 700 staff members at locations in India, in U.S.A., in Asia, and in Europe for the Industry and the Building Technology market domain, as well as for customers from the Automotive and Marine market domain.

The objective of the partnership and the newly established IT company is the internationalization of development and sales activities for ITandFactory. „The software development capacities at Neilsoft offer us the opportunity to further develop CADISON quicker as planned. The already unveiled version “Night Fox” for CADISON will probably be completed one year earlier”, Georg Kremer says, a CEO at ITF.

Bernd Henrici, a further CEO at ITF, adds: “We will expand our internationalization activities in large steps by partnering with the prominent shareholder Neilsoft:  Over 1 billion people live in India, and the Indian economy grows at a breathtaking pace, year by year. New production facilities must be planned and built – this is an enormous opportunity for ITF to strongly establish the plant engineering planning software CADISON globally via participation in Neilsoft engineering projects and in its sales network.

The expansion of target groups, as planned by the management of ITandFactory, into the market domains Food & Beverage, Power Plant Technology, Process Industry, and Logistics – within which specific software modules are to be developed accordingly – will be easier to be achieved under the new structure. “Our objective to develop a comprehensive and platform-independent product line for different market segments will be achieved more quickly as planned”, as Kremer and Henrici both point out.

Furthermore, a new business domain was created with the “Consulting Group”, who provides stronger staff support for users during the rollout of software solutions.

Triplan expertise within the market domain Automotive, which is accommodated by the 100% subsidiary company Venturis GmbH, fully remains as core business domain within the Triplan Group. VenturisIT GmbH accommodates the furthering developments of TRICAD MS modules deployed at DaimlerChrysler, Audi, and BMW, and is responsible for sales within the countries Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The new company ITandFactory now possesses exclusive sales rights for TRICAD MS business outside of the German language region (DACH). ITF also pursues an internationalization strategy.
